Apps Alliance Hosts Seattle Workshop on Generating Revenue From Apps

Washington, DC (Feb. 11, 2014) – In light of several new reports that find as app downloads continue to rise, revenue forecasts are grim for hardworking developers, the Application Developers Alliance announces it’s hosting an App Strategy Workshop: Making Money With Apps on Feb. 13 in Seattle. The Workshop, which includes speakers and presenters from AT&T, CTIA–The Wireless Association®, GameHouse, Big Fish Games, Millennial Media, Intel and more, helps mobile app developers find the path to revenue generation. The Seattle Workshop is one of 15 App Strategy Workshops nationwide aimed at helping entrepreneurs build a successful business around apps.

According to Vision Mobile’s State of the Developer Nation Q1 2014 report, 60 percent of developers are below the “app poverty line.” Apps can be a profitable business but many developers aren’t sure how to best monetize their work. The App Strategy Workshop helps them find a customized path to making money with apps.

The Make Money With Apps Workshop includes five engaging panels and presentations that take a deep dive into the tools and resources needed to succeed and concludes with a networking reception and KnowMyApp.org by CTIA–The Wireless Association® Office Hours.
