Application Developers Alliance Welcomes Six New Members

Washington, D.C. (February 21, 2013) – Today, the Application Developers Alliance welcomed six new members including Fluendo, HasOffers, My Apps Co, OpenX, PaeDae, and WeLink. As Alliance members, the companies will have access to a network of more than 20,000 individual developers and more than 100 companies, as well as DevsBuild. It, the Alliance’s resource center.

“Fluendo is thrilled with the opportunity to be part of the Alliance and participate in this network,” said Muriel Paumier-Moscardini, CEO of Fluendo. “We want to introduce the GStreamer SDK to the community and provide all application developers with the power of the GSteamer framework so they can add multimedia capabilities to their apps regardless of the platform, operating system, or form factor.”

Members also have the opportunity to participate in events, policy advocacy, and Alliance working groups. PaeDae will join the Mobile Payments working group. OpenX and HasOffers will become members of the Business and Revenue working group.

“HasOffers is excited to join The Alliance with our product MobileAppTracking. We really believe this organization aligns with our principles to provide more opportunities for app developers,” said Peter Hamilton, CEO of HasOffers.

“We offer members a chance to connect with one another and to work together to shape the direction of the industry,” said Jon Potter, Alliance President. “We welcome this new group of companies and look forward to seeing what they bring to the conversation, from participating in our working groups to contributing to policy discussions.”
