Application Developers Alliance Adds Five New Corporate Partners

Washington, D.C. (June 21, 2012)Today the Application Developers Alliance, the primary association representing software developers, announced that it has added Mojiva, PlayUp, Corky Portwine, Social Driver, and 140 Ventures to its nearly 80 corporate partners. As members of the Alliance, the companies also unite with the nearly 7,000 individual developers who are shaping the industry.

“Mojiva is dedicated to driving innovation and growth within the mobile ecosystem. Joining the Application Developers Alliance is something we are really excited about as the group is set to help educate, promote and improve the app development space as it rapidly evolves,” said Laura Buchman, VP Business Development, with Mojiva.

Mojiva is a mobile ad network that reaches more than 1.1 billion devices globally and represents 8,000 mobile publishers and apps. Through deep and open integration with all major rich media providers and ad servers, Mojiva provides ad agencies with every imaginable mobile media execution across mobile web sites, apps and devices.

PlayUp specializes in building mobile communities around sports. In 2011, PlayUp launched its mobile-based social network dedicated to live sports, becoming the first real-time, mass-market social gaming platform enabling users globally to interact via their mobile devices during live games.

Corky Portwine creates whimsical interactive storybooks for kids. Its next mobile app is an illustrated version of Edward Lear’s classic children’s poem “The Courtship of the Yonghy-Bonghy-Bò.”

140 Ventures produces game-changing solutions for tech innovators through a nationwide network of incubators and accelerators. By wrapping app development into Lean Startup methodologies, 140 Ventures produces powerful innovations for consumers and enterprises to enhance technological output for maximum community benefit.
