Going Native: The Future of Mobile Advertising

Native ad revenue accounted for almost 50% of all mobile advertising revenue last year, up from 32.1% in 2012. However, a recent developer survey uncovered relatively little awareness and acceptance of native ads, with 91% of developers leaving native ads out of their budget entirely. As consumer expectations for advertising changes, developers must also remain flexible to ensure sustained revenue from ads.

To ease the transition from traditional advertising strategies, the Application Developers Alliance has crafted Going Native: The Future of Mobile Advertising.

With this informative best-practices guide, developers can:

  • Distinguish and define the concept of native advertising

  • Identify and quantify the value of native advertising

  • Understand and integrate standardization that improves the advertising model
