The Mobile Competition in the Age of the Internet of Things event will explore how the age of Internet enabled devices impacts how consumers engage with software.  The way we interact with applications is fundamentally changing, as a multitude of devices and platforms create experiences with digital services that can be seamless, continuous, and contextually-optimized.

The panel will explore how this emerging trend impacts how policymakers view the state of "mobile competition."  Does this trend increase or decrease competition?  How does it impact the opportunities for developers to connect with consumers?  And do we have to rethink concepts such as market definition in light of the Internet of Things age?
